• March 8th, 2010 - Next Monday I will be performing a procedure which will help change the treatment of post extreme weight lose patients. Currently patients who have lost 100-200 or sometimes more weight undergo 3-5 surgeries to remove the extra skin that hangs on them like an ill fitting garment. Some patients can have upwards of 30-50 lbs of skin removed during these surgeries. Some doctors were able to reduce the number of surgeries to 2-3 while doing multiple procedures. These surgeries can take up to 8 hours or more per procedure
